A few years ago, Erica and Dan moved to Los Angeles but when it came time to plan their perfect wedding, there was no place like home. They wanted to throw the ultimate New York City wedding and what could be a more iconic venue than The River Cafe in Brooklyn? With its sweeping views of the city and a menu to die for, this is where they wanted to celebrate their marriage. Erica looked absolutely stunning in her lace Monique Lhullier wedding gown adorned with a crystal encrusted belt and Jimmy Choo shoes. Her bridesmaids wore gorgeous navy Jenny Yoo dresses and they all carried bright, colorful bouquets from Violet and Verde. I was so excited that they hired a vintage yellow taxi cab to take them around Brooklyn for their portraits - we literally stopped traffic in Dumbo!
Taxi's were also the theme for their escort cards, favors and menus. Their intimate outdoor ceremony was full of love and laughter as the officiant had everyone rolling in their seats, which is exactly what the happy couple wanted. The newlyweds danced the night away with sounds of Eric Nichols Band throughout the reception. I even snuck them outside to take a few night photos on the pier with the glowing Brooklyn Bridge in the background. The ladies of Blush Events really helped to keep Erica and Dan's wedding day running smoothly. I absolutely loved working with their amazing team of planners and highly recommend them for all my sweet couples! I'm so honored I could be part of Erica and Dan's amazing wedding day and I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness! Congratulations newlyweds!
