Luminous light, pops of pink and the sweetest couple make for a gorgeous engagement session in new york city. We visited the Conservatory Gardens at Central Park on one of the last great days of the Summer. The lawns were a lush green and the flowers were in full bloom. Claire & Adam visited the gardens on one of their very first dates so it was special and meaningful location for their engagement session. They are one of the sweetest, kindest and most thoughtful couples I have the pleasure of working with and I'm so excited for their vineyard wedding next year! Enjoy!!
St. Louis Travel Photography. Destination Wedding Photographer
This summer we did a lot of traveling for weddings. I visited Nashville, St. Louis and Montreal for the first time which was so exciting! Before heading to the Lake, we stayed in St. Louis for a few days to do a bit of exploring. The Gateway Arch is by far one of my favorite things on the planet. I was in complete awe of its beauty and terrified once we got to the top. Seriously, it's surreal! We had breakfast at Winslow's Home, went paddle boating in Forest Park before heading to the Cardinals baseball game where I caught a foul ball!! On our last day, we stopped by The Pulitzer Foundation to check out the building and Richard Serra sculpture. While we were driving around, I fell in love with all the vintage parking signs and made my husband pull over so I could photograph them. Our last stop in St. Louis was the breathtaking Abby Churchy Church. It was one of the most gorgeous churches I have ever been in and made of concrete. Happy Travels!

Nautical Wedding at The Montauk Yacht Club
Heather and Mike's nautical-inspired wedding at the Montauk Yacht Club is undeniably gorgeous. Their attention to detail shines through everywhere you look starting from the custom made canvas totes for their bridesmaids, to blue and white striped ribbon tied around the bouquets and boutonnieres and their table numbers were named after places they like to visit together as a couple. Heather looked radiant in her romantic lace dress from Monique Lhuillier and gold kate spade heels. She wore a petite flower wreath in her hair, soft romantic makeup and let her bridesmaids chose their own dresses in shades of neutral and soft pinks. No one saw their dresses before the wedding but don't they look so great together? Love! Heather & Mike's small intimate wedding is exactly the kind of wedding that makes me so happy to be a wedding photographer. The happy couple literally "tied the knot" in front of their closest family and friends. A loud cheer of happiness took over the room once they officially became husband and wife. The happy couple met at the Montauk Yacht Club so it was the perfect place for them to celebrate their marriage. I absolutely adore Heather & Mike and so humbled to be part of their wedding day. I wish them lots of love and happiness and the good news is that I'll see them around the neighborhood - yay! Congratulations Heather & Mike (& nike)!!

Stylish Summer Engagement Session in The West Village, NYC
Gingham, cute cafés and gorgeous light make this one of my favorite engagement sessions. Vy & Mike wanted to take photos in their home before visiting a few of their favorite restaurants and cafés in west village. We had coffee at Café Minerva, laughed in front of Joseph Leonard and enjoyed a seat in front of Jeffery's Grocery. Seriously, the September sun is just absolutely gorgeous and I could resist having the couple completely drenched in dreamy light as we walked to each location. So dreamy - Enjoy!
