Newborn Photography
If there was ever a time to invest in your photography, it would be for your newborn photos. There is a short period of time when your brand-new baby still fits in the palm of your hands and sleeps a lot, which is the perfect time for your newborn session. I always recommend capturing these photos 2-3 weeks after the baby arrives to capture their littleness and also give mom a bit of time to heal and for the parents to begin to adjust to their new family life. Newborn photos take place inside of your home.
Milestone Sessions
I’m so happy to offer milestone sessions for my clients so that we can capture the sweet in-between months throughout the first year of your child's life. These include 3 and 6-month and 1-year photos.
Maternity Photography
When you find out that your life will forever be blessed with a baby, you definitely want to celebrate that time in your lives. I suggest having your maternity photos in locations that are meaningful to you as a couple and you’ll look back at them with excitement. Most of my clients choose to have their maternity photos taken when their baby bump is officially showing which is around the 6-month mark, depending on how Mom is carrying. Waiting till the second trimester will also (usually!) ensure that Mom-to-Be is feeling well and up for photos. Maternity photos can take place on-location or in your home.
Family Photography
Family photography in New York City makes me so excited because I get to see my clients, families, and couples year after year and watch their children grow up. I become part of the family where the kids know me and are very comfortable around me. I can get that smile and authentic laugh out of them within a few minutes after our session begins. Most family photo sessions take place on location.

The Best Locations for Family Photos in New York City
Central Park, New York City
One of my most requested (and iconic!) New York City engagement photo locations of all time. Everyone wants to take their NYC engagement photos inside Central Park. Either at the Bethesda Terrace, Bethesda Fountain, Bow Bridge, The Ladies Pavillion, Oak Bridge, the Central Park Boathouse, or even renting one of the paddle boats on the lake. It’s one of the best places to catch the cherry blossoms and fall foliage!
Conservatory Gardens at Central Park
It’s sort of a hidden gem right in the heart of New York City. This super-manicured, beautiful garden is the perfect location for your family photos.
Brooklyn Heights
There is a reason why one of Brooklyn’s most expensive and sought-after neighborhoods is the perfect location for your engagement photos. The New York City skyline in the background is in the background. Need I say more? The Heights are filled with perfect brownstones, carriage houses, and special spots that you just cannot find anywhere else in the city.
Prospect Park in Brooklyn
Not a grand as Central Park, Prospect Park, and Grand Army Plaza has plenty of beautiful trees, lawns, and locations, such as The Prospect Park Boathouse, for use to visit during your family session. When the park is in full bloom, it’s magical and you can sometimes forget you are located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York.
Gramercy Park
This tucked-away neighborhood has some of the best ivy walls and gardens in New York City. There are quaint shops and store fronts to use for the perfect background and the light in the morning is just perfect for your engagement photos. BONUS if you live in Gramercy Park and have a key to the very beautiful and private park just for residents.
