The Foundry is one of the most magical wedding venues in New York City. Between its a mix of romantic and industrial locations, it's a dream to photograph. Laura and Shevon began their love story inside the dorms of New York University. The happy couple is avid travelers who love to explore and decided to throw an intimate fete at The Foundry in Long Island City. Laura wore the most amazing structured wedding dress from Carol Hannah and jaw-dropping gold Christian Louboutin shoes. The groom and groomsmen got ready at The Foundry's greenhouse before the couple shared their first look outside on the private rooftop terrace. Shevon's reaction to seeing his beautiful bride to be was simply amazing to capture.
In the courtyard, we used the full advantage of the stunning ivy-covered walls and vintage cobblestone streets. I could have photographed them for hours! Ivie Joy Flowers created a simple yet stunning white bouquet for the bride and used lots of peach and pink blooms for their reception. Lots of happy tears were shed during their intimate wedding ceremony and the room exploded with cheers when Laura and Shevon shared their first kiss as husband and wife. The warm September evening was perfect for their tented outdoor reception. Guest enjoyed cocktail hour in the greenhouse before moving outside in the courtyard to enjoy dinner under the stars. I'm so honored I could be part of their modern, romantic, and very glamorous wedding day!
