On a crisp day in March, Sarah and Calvin were married in their beloved New York City. They said their wedding vows at the picturesque Brick Presbyterian Church on the Upper East Side before heading over to the iconic Rainbow Room in Rockefeller Center. The couple fell in love with this stunning venue the moment the entered the elegant doors. It was a perfect match! Sarah and Calvin got ready separately at the Lotte NY Palace Hotel before they shared their private first look in the hotels perfectly manicured courtyard. The bride wore the most amazing wedding gown that was hand beaded with appliqué flowers by Amsale.
With the help and direction of Jove Meyer Events, the couple created a breathtaking reception inside the Rainbow Room. Designs by Ahn created tall and low centerpieces that transformed the room from gorgeous to incredible. Accents of gold, white and green cascaded throughout the guests tables. The happy couple shares a love of golf and each table number was named after a "tee" on the golf course. Such a sweet and very personal touch! The floral inspired 5 tiered wedding cake from Madison Lee Cakes was also a show stopper - almost too pretty to eat. Well, almost! One of my favorite aspects of the Rainbow Room is access to the private terrace. We took their bridal party and a few more Bride and Groom photos on the rooftop with the Empire State Building in the background. Absolutely breathtaking and classic New York City! Lots of laughter and tears of joy where shared throughout the reception and I'm thrilled to have been part of it. Congratulations to the happy couple!!
