501 Union Wedding Photos with Modern Kicks Events
On a perfect day in Brooklyn, Jenna and Evan prepared to get married in front of their closest family and friends at 501 Union. Jenna is an artist by trade and designed the couples intricate and beautiful wedding invitations. The Bride wore a detailed lace wedding dress with a mix of vintage and modern flare adorned with her grandmother's clutch, mother's earrings and crystal encrusted headpiece. Jenna's engagement ring is a stunner! The diamond and slightly oval shaped diamond is a family heirloom that Evan had created into her engagement ring - so romantic!!
The bridesmaids each picked our their own dress in similar vibrant hues of red and coral creating such a lovely pop of color among the bridal party. Stems Brooklyn constructed an incredible floral Chuppah that had a tropical twist. For the couples first look, we walked over the Gowanus Canal to find a bit of greenery in Brooklyn which made for absolutely perfect portraits. Their Jewish wedding ceremony was filled with honored traditions, lots of love and even a few happy tears. Simple and elegant touches decorated the reception space at 501 Union while guest enjoyed cocktail hour at the bar and danced the night away under the disco ball. It was truly a magical wedding day and I'm so honored to have been there with them to capture all the special and shared moments. Congratulations! xo

Fall Central Park Engagement Photos in New York City
Fall is definitely one of my favorite times of the year. I love the changing colors of the leaves, you get to wear sweaters and the light is absolutely the prettiest in New York City. I was so happy when Sue and Chris wanted to take their engagement photos in the beginning of September. We took full advantage of the empty streets and a quiet Central Park early in the morning. The American Museum of Natural History was the perfect location to begin their session because it's the exact spot where Chris got down on one knee and proposed to Sue. So sweet!! I'm thrilled to share a few of my favorite engagement photos from their session and I cannot wait for their wedding next year Brooklyn Botantic Garden. Enjoy! xo

501 Union Wedding Photos with Whimsy Weddings
They day before Michelle and Dejan's wedding at 501 Union in Brooklyn, it down poured in New York City. However, on their wedding day, the rain held off, sun came out and as soon as their wedding ceremony was over, the skies opened up and showered Brooklyn again. Phew, we just made it! Michelle and her bridesmaids got ready at the ever chic Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It is one of my favorite hotels for bridal prep because the light, the location and the decor all make for spectacular getting ready photos. The bride wore a delicate lace wedding gown from Monique Lhuillier and blush satin Jimmy Choo shoes.
The Groom got ready with his best man at the couples apartment in Manhattan before meeting us at the hotel. The couple shared their first look by The William Vale hotel, before we headed over to Prospect Park for more wedding photos. The couple hired the amazing team of Whimsy Weddings to be their wedding planner, coordinator and floral designer. The entire wedding was simply gorgeous! Inside 501 Union, Michelle and Dejan stood under a Chuppah made of gorgeous pink cherry blossoms as they said their vows and became husband and wife. Their dog Nico even made a guest appearance as he walked down the aisle with one of Michelle's bridesmaids - so cute!
The reception started off with a special performance during the couples first dance. The Groom's best man sang for the couple!! To celebrate Dejan's Serbian heritage, they hired a Balkan Brass Band to play after the hora. Everyone danced, laughed and threw money at the couple, wishing them a long and happy marriage! Michelle and Dejan are one of the kindest and funniest couples I've had the pleasure of getting to know. I'm so incredibly honored to have been there with them for their wonderful wedding day! xo

Rainbow Room Wedding with Jove Meyer Events
On a crisp day in March, Sarah and Calvin were married in their beloved New York City. They said their wedding vows at the picturesque Brick Presbyterian Church on the Upper East Side before heading over to the iconic Rainbow Room in Rockefeller Center. The couple fell in love with this stunning venue the moment they entered the elegant doors. It was a perfect match! Sarah and Calvin got ready separately at the Lotte NY Palace Hotel before they shared their private first look in the hotels perfectly manicured courtyard. The bride wore the most amazing wedding gown that was hand-beaded with appliqué flowers by Amsale.
With the help and direction of Jove Meyer Events, the couple created a breathtaking reception inside the Rainbow Room. Designs by Ahn created tall and low centerpieces that transformed the room from gorgeous to incredible. Accents of gold, white and green cascaded throughout the guests ‘tables. The happy couple shares a love of golf and each table number was named after a "tee" on the golf course. Such a sweet and very personal touch! The floral -inspired five-tered wedding cake from Madison Lee Cakes was also a show stopper - almost too pretty to eat. Well, almost! One of my favorite aspects of the Rainbow Room is access to the private terrace. We took their bridal party and a few more Bride and Groom photos on the rooftop with the Empire State Building in the background. Absolutely breathtaking and classic New York City! Lots of laughter and tears of joy were shared throughout the reception ,and I'm thrilled to have been part of it. Congratulations to the happy couple!!
