Montauk mornings have a kind of magic you can’t quite put into words. The soft light, salty air, and wide-open horizon all make it the dreamiest place for beach engagement photos. For this sweet couple, Montauk is where their love story really began, so coming back to Kirk Beach for their engagement session felt perfectly full circle. With bare feet in the sand, a white flowy dress, and bright blue skies overhead, their session was relaxed, playful, and beautifully true to them.

We met early in the morning on what turned out to be a true bluebird day with bright skies, white cresting waves, and the most beautiful clear light. The bride to be wore a white, flowy dress that caught the wind with every step, and he kept it classic with rolled-up pants and a soft, neutral shirt, ready to run straight into the water.

We started by the dunes, then wandered down to the shoreline, stopping at bits of driftwood along the way. They chased each other through the surf, splashed in the shallows, and walked hand in hand along the water’s edge. My favorite moments were the in-between ones: the way he pulled her close when she laughed, or how she looked up at him with the waves crashing behind them. Nothing stiff or posed - just two people completely at ease together.

Hamptons Engagement Session in Bridgehampton, NY

There is nothing like a summer day at the beach to make being engaged feel extra magical. The salty air, soft breeze, and sound of rolling waves make everything slow down in the best way. As a New York City Engagement Photographer, I love any excuse to escape the city and head to the Hamptons with my couples.

This Bridgehampton session was all about fun, laughter, and that can’t-stop-smiling “we’re getting married!” feeling, complete with a charming windmill and dreamy Hamptons beach photos. For this session, the couple wanted a break from the buzz of New York City and a setting that felt relaxed but still special. Bridgehampton was the perfect pick: classic Hamptons, but not too crowded, with wide-open skies and beautiful stretches of sand.

We started at the Beebe Windmill, one of Bridgehampton’s sweetest little landmarks. It has that storybook, coastal charm that instantly says “Hamptons in summer,” and it’s such a fun spot to warm up before heading to the beach. From there, we headed straight to Main Beach, and the second we heard the waves, everyone instantly relaxed. It was that ideal summer mix: cool enough to feel comfortable, warm enough to kick off your shoes and walk barefoot in the sand.
