There is something about a baby's first time touching sand that is truly worth remembering. One minute, we were setting up for their outdoor family portraits on a quiet Cold Spring Harbor beach, and the next, this little girl's toes were pressing into the sand for the very first time. I work with families across Long Island and New York City, and this family chose their local Cold Spring Harbor beach for the first half of their daughter's six-month milestone session.
On the morning of the session, the sky moved between clouds and soft patches of sun. For families with young babies, timing is everything.
