New York Maternity Session in Sag Harbor, NY

For anyone who visits Sag Harbor, you realize how special it is even after your very first visit. Sag Harbor, located in the Hamptons on Long Island, is where I grew up so imagine my excitement to photograph a beautiful maternity session in town and at Long Beach at sunset. It was truly magical! We walked around Sag Harbor and visited the famous Sag Harbor Theatre before making our way to Long Beach for a dreamy golden sunset. These sweet parents-to-be had a long journey to have their baby boy, so capturing this really special and momental time in the lives was truly special. Our momma to be wore a flowy Farm Rio dress which was absolutely perfect for their photos on the beach. The wind blew it around which created a lot of movement while they walked on the beach holding hands. Here are a few of my favorite photographs from their beach maternity session in beautiful Sag Harbor, NY.

Hamptons + Long Island Family Photographer

On a perfect morning in July, I met up with one of my dearest families and photographed them on the beach in Montauk, NY. It was such a fun and sunny morning together capturing their two girls play in the sand, discover the rocks and waves and run around enjoying the peak of Summer. It was our first mini milestone weekend in the Hamptons and I’m so beyond excited I was able to document so many families in a place that they each hold dear. Here are a few favorites from this families session near South Edision Beach in Montauk, New York.

Canoe Place Inn & Cottages Wedding Photos

The weather called for rain all day but it quickly changed into perfect blue-grey skies which gave us the perfect backdrop for Emily and Peter’s wedding at Canoe Place Inn and Cottages in Hampton Bays, NY. The modern, fun, and beachy aesthetic of Canoe Place Inn was the perfect location to celebrate their marriage. The couple got engaged at Cooper’s Beach which is about 15 minutes from the wedding venue so it was really meaningful for them to revisit the beach for their wedding photos. Emily looked radiant in her Sareh Nouri wedding dress with applique white flowers and a cascading veil with a floral border. In honoring their Greek Orthodox traditions, they had their ceremony at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary located in Southampton, NY. I love the exchanging of the wedding crowns, walking around the altar, and declaring your love for your faith and spouse in such a beautiful church. Emily and Peter chose a palette of blue, whites, and hints of pink for their wedding decor, and Effortless Events, who’s based in Chicago, brought their vision to life at Canoe Place Inn and Cottages. Once the party officially kicked off, I don’t think anyone sat down at their seats till the party was over. One of the most fun parts of the evening was dancing the traditional money dance where everyone dances in a circle and throws money at the newlyweds to wish them luck. It was so much fun and I’m so honored to be part of their incredible wedding weekend. Here are a few of my favorite images from their beautiful wedding day!

Featured in The New York Times

I’m beyond excited and incredibly honored to have one of my photos printed in The New York Times and featured online. The New York Times interviewed Bridal Stylist Francesca DiSpirto, a good friend of mine and we recently collaborated on a styled shoot on Martha’s Vineyard. The article is about how bridal hats are making a comeback and we featured this incredible floppy hat with ribbon hat in our shoot. Francesca shared our photos with The New York Times and the whole team was ecstatic to see it included alongside her interview. My photo was the only one included in the Sunday Styles print edition. This is truly a pinch-me moment as the Sunday Styles is my favorite section of the paper. Congratulations to our team who helped spring this bridal inspiration shoot together including hair and makeup by SB Beauty, wedding dress by Weilu Fresolone Atelier, and our model Susanna. You can see the full article here article here and I purchased a few copies to keep forever. and I purchased a few copies to keep forever.

A Tented Wedding in East Hampton, NY

When your childhood dream is to get married at your family’s summer home in The Hamptons, you can only imagine how magical it will turn out when the day finally arrives. For B and Z’s wedding last Fall in East Hampton, it was truly an incredible celebration and it was an honor to be part of their wedding day out east. Classic Events NYC planned and designed a perfect wedding day for the couple at the bride’s family home in East Hampton, NY. They put up a classic white sailcloth tent on the property and created an intimate ceremony setup adjacent to the pool. Cocktail hour was held in the sprawling backyard before guests were asked to enter the glowing tent under the twinkle lights strung underneath. The bride wore an elegant wedding dress from Amsale and decided to wear her mother’s heirloom, and showstopping, diamond necklace that hung down her back. B wanted to visit East Hampton’s Main Beach for their bride and groom portraits. We played on the beach before heading back to the property for their outdoor wedding ceremony to begin. The aisle was lined with shades of blue hydrangeas, the Bride’s favorite, which were also hand-painted on her custom wedding shoes. The evening festivities were magical and before the night ended, guests were invited to join the happy couple back on the beach for a bonfire and s’mores. Excited to share a few of my favorite images including some of favorite my drone photographs from their wedding day. The view from above was breathtaking!
